Maria Virgen

April 6, 1969 — March 26, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Virgen, who left this world far too soon on March 26,2026, following a sudden and devastating diagnosis of stage 4 brain cancer. Maria was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, and deeply adored sister. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Jose, her precious daughter, Esme, brother and sister, Evangelina and Guadalupe, and a huge extended family who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She was known for her strength, humor, warmth, and the way she made everyone around her feel loved and supported. Whether through her laughter, her resilience, or the quiet ways she showed up for those she loved, Maria left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her greatest joy in life was her daughter, whom she loved beyond measure. She was a dedicated and nurturing mother, always putting her family first and creating a home filled with love, comfort, and care. Though her time with us was cut tragically short, her strength in the face of unimaginable circumstances will never be forgotten. She faced her diagnosis with courage and grace, reminding us all of the power of love and the importance of every moment. She is survived by her husband, her daughter, her sister, and many loving family members and friends who will miss her dearly. A celebration of her life will be held on 4/18/2026 at La Jolla Beach Park, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the beautiful life she lived. Though she is no longer with us, her love remains—woven into the lives she touched, the family she built, and the memories we will treasure forever. She will be deeply missed and endlessly loved.
