In Loving Memory

Maria Lourdes P. Eugenio
January 18, 1961 — July 30, 2026
Maria Lourdes P. Eugenio, affectionately known to many as "Tita Malou," passed away peacefully after a courageous battle against her illness. Born on January 18, 1961, in Pasig City, Malou was a beacon of selflessness and joy to all who knew her.
Malou was the beloved daughter of the late Marcelino "Nenong" and Apolonia "Onying" Eugenio. She was predeceased by her cherished parents, her older siblings Celia and Romy Ballesteros, George and Carlos Eugenio, her brother-in-law Eusebio "Seb" Sison, her oldest niece Cynthia Ballesteros-Marcelo, and her grand-niece Ma. Elise Samantha Sison Ramos. She leaves behind her treasured older sister, Angelina "Lina" Sison, sisters-in-law Pacita "Chit" Eugenio and Winona "Winnie" Eugenio, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews, all of whom she adored and cherished deeply.
Malou's educational journey began at Colegio del Buen Consejo in Pasig City, and she later graduated from Pasig Catholic College with a degree in Secretarial Education. Her heart, however, found its true calling in service to others, as she devoted many years to volunteering as a Catechist at the Immaculate Conception Parish in Pasig. Her dedication to the church and her community was unwavering, and she was known for her giving spirit and selfless love.
Her family and friends fondly remember Malou for her infectious sense of humor and her love for telling jokes. She had a particular fondness for chicken feet and enjoyed sharing snacks with her loved ones. Her warmth and generosity extended to all, as she lavishly gave and selflessly shared everything she had with her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
A service to celebrate Malou's life will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Loyola Guadalupe. Her family takes comfort in their faith and the reassurance of the scripture: "Yes, we do have confidence, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord." — 2 Corinthians 5:8
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to help pay for Malou's hospital bills, a gesture that will honor Malou's life and her enduring legacy of love and giving..
Tita Malou, your memory will forever be cherished in our hearts. You are loved beyond words and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know you.
