Maria was predeceased by her devoted husband, Miguel Cruz, her cherished daughter Yanita Medina, her beloved son Israel Medina, and her dear granddaughter Catalina Cruz. Despite these profound losses, Maria continued to find strength and joy in the family she nurtured and loved. Her legacy is carried forward by her daughters Maria Liggins, Petra Cruz, and Jessica Cruz, and her son Miguel Cruz. Maria was a proud grandmother to 24 grandchildren and a doting great-grandmother to 8 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she was the cornerstone of their lives, offering wisdom, kindness, and an abundance of love.
