Mari K. Gervais

May 30, 1971 — August 16, 2026

Mari Krista Gervais passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on August 16, 2026, in the care of EvergreenHealth Hospice in Kirkland, WA. Mari was born on May 30, 1971, in Seattle, WA, to Gary and Helen Gervais. She dearly loved her family including aunts, uncles and cousins. Mari was especially close to her mother Helen (now deceased), her father Gary, her brother Greg and his family, Candace, Garrett and Sophie. Prior to her passing she “promoted” her stepmother Judy, to just mother. She also loved her many friends, including a group of classmates whose friendships began in kindergarten. Mari was a talented artist (working with watercolors) a craft enthusiast, and a lover of music. She had a huge heart for animals; having a special bond with her cat, Olive. She enjoyed camping with her brother and his family and for many years spending summers with her family in Seaside, OR. Mari enjoyed traveling, having been to England several times, including side trips to Scotland and France. She also enjoyed visiting her Aunt Marie and Uncle Jim in Ohio, and her close friends Scott and Jody Larson who lived in the Washington DC area. She loved visiting America’s historical sites. Although she is gone from our earthly presence, Mari will forever be in our hearts.
