Margie was the cherished daughter of Rose Henry and Edgar Smith. She was a devoted mother to her children, Rashida and Eugene, and a proud grandmother to her four grandchildren, whose presence brought immense joy to her life. Her family was her world, and her love for them was boundless. Margie was predeceased by her beloved daughter, LaTonya, and her ex-husband, Eugene, whom she held dear in her memory. A graduate of Northern High School, Margie dedicated her professional life to helping others, working as a dietary aid. Her career was a testament to her nurturing nature and her commitment to the well-being of those around her. Margie possessed a remarkable talent in the kitchen, where she loved to cook meals from scratch, always adding her own "lil razzle dazzle" to the recipes. Her culinary creations were a source of comfort and joy to her family and friends, bringing people together with every meal. Her smile and the sternness with which she approached life spoke volumes, reflecting her resilience and her unwavering commitment to her family and values. Margie is survived by her loving mother, her devoted brothers and sisters, her treasured children, Rashida and Eugene, and her four adoring grandchildren.
