Margarito Lopez Velazco, born on June 10, 1950, in Mexico, peacefully departed this world on August 2, 2026, at his home, enveloped in the warmth of his dreams. His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of his beloved family and friends, who remember him as a hardworking, lively soul, always ready to bring a smile to everyone’s face. Margarito was the cherished son of Eladio and Maria. On November 19, 1972, he married the love of his life, Martha Lopez, in Puebla, Mexico. Together, they built a beautiful life, celebrating 53 years of unwavering love and companionship. Margarito and Martha were blessed with two sons, Isaac and Ismael Lopez, who, along with Margarito's nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, continue to carry forward his legacy. For 26 years, Margarito dedicated his life to his passion as a landscaper. He ran his own business, forming meaningful relationships with his clients, whom he visited daily. His dedication to his craft was unmatched, and he took immense pride in transforming landscapes, bringing beauty and life through his hard work. When Margarito wasn't working, you could find him outside in his garden, tending to his plants with the same care he showed in all aspects of his life. He found joy in the simplest pleasures, like listening to music while he worked under the open sky. Margarito had the rare gift of finding laughter in the everyday, and his sense of humor was infectious, brightening the lives of those around him. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Hospice, whose support and kindness made an indelible impact during Margarito's final days. A service to celebrate Margarito's life will be held on August 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Iglesia Bautista Getsemani, located at 3580 Brevard Road, Hendersonville. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Margarito's memory to a charity of your choice. Margarito will forever be remembered for his dedication to his family, his work, and his community. His spirit lives on in the laughter he shared, the gardens he nurtured, and the hearts he touched.
