Margaret Cash a cherished soul and beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully at the hospital on September 11, 2026. Born on January 8, 1928, in the vibrant city of Miami, Margaret lived a life filled with love, dedication, and warmth. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, LeMoyne Cash, and their beloved children, Peggy Skeen, Richard Cash, and Bob Cash. Margaret's journey through life was marked by her generous spirit and a passion for nurturing others. After marrying LeMoyne, the couple settled in Tallahassee, where they raised their family and made a lasting impact on their community. Margaret was a proud graduate of Florida State University, where she not only earned her degree but also contributed to the lives of countless students through her work with the university's yearbooks. Her commitment to education extended into her career as a dedicated teacher at several high schools in Tallahassee, where she inspired young minds until her retirement. A woman of many talents and interests, Margaret was an avid Bridge player and an active member of St. Paul's Methodist Church in Tallahassee. Her love for crosswords and puzzles kept her mind sharp, while her heart remained open to the joys of life, especially her cherished rides through the scenic North Carolina mountains. The visits from her two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren were a source of immense joy and fulfillment, bringing warmth and laughter to her days. Margaret's home was always a welcoming haven, filled with her warm smile and the aroma of love and kindness. Her giving nature and ability to make everyone feel at home were hallmarks of her character, traits that endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Haywood Hospital for their exceptional care and support during Margaret's final days. Their kindness and dedication will always be remembered. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Margaret's memory to St. Paul's Methodist Church in Tallahassee, a place that held a special place in her heart.
