Margaret L. (Woodward) Magune

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Margaret L. (Woodward) Magune on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at her cherished home in Worcester, Massachusetts. Born on April 7, 1940, in Worcester, Margaret was the beloved daughter of the late Frederic B. Woodward and Anna T. (Hayden) Woodward. Margaret was a beacon of grace and compassion throughout her 86 years. A proud graduate of high school, she followed her calling and pursued a career in nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse. Her dedication to caring for others was evident in her every action, and she touched countless lives with her gentle spirit and healing hands. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Margaret found profound joy in her family life. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Francis A. "Jack" Magune, who passed away in 2001. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership, filled with shared dreams and cherished moments. Margaret's life was a living testament to kindness, compassion, and unwavering strength. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew her, and she will be remembered for her warm smile, her tender heart, and her unwavering commitment to her family and community. A graveside service to honor Margaret's life will be held on July 24, 2026, at Rural Cemetery, Section 47, located at 180 Grove Street, Worcester, MA. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Margaret are invited to attend and celebrate the remarkable life she led. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those wishing to honor Margaret's memory consider making a donation to a charity of their choice, reflecting her lifelong dedication to helping others. Margaret's journey on this earth has ended, but her spirit and love will forever remain in the hearts of those she left behind. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
