Margaret "Peg" Horning

Margaret “Peg” Horning, age 94, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026. Born on February 18, 1932, in Akron, Ohio. Peg spent the majority of her life in Cuyahoga Falls, where she built a beautiful life surrounded by family, friends, and made countless cherished memories. Peg was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She had a gift for making everyone around her feel welcome and loved. Peg embraced life with an energy and joy that was uniquely her own. She possessed a beautiful balance of hard work, what was right, and knowing how to have a good time. She loved to sing, dance, laugh, and, most importantly, spend time with the people she loved. Whether she was sipping wine with her neighbors, sharing an ice cream sundae with her grandchildren, or simply enjoying the company of family and friends, Peg had a way of turning ordinary moments into memories that would last a lifetime. She brightened every room she entered, and her presence was impossible to forget. Peg was known for her honesty and her willingness to always tell you the truth, but she did so with a spirit of love. She cared deeply for others and had an extraordinary ability to make people feel seen, heard, and loved. Everyone loved Peggy Poo. She truly lived her life to the fullest, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, strength, and adventure. The stories and memories she created throughout her 94 years are abundant, and they will continue to be shared for generations to come. Through those stories, through the lessons she taught us, and through the love she gave so freely, Peg will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. We could not have been more blessed to have Peg as a part of our lives. Her love, her laughter, her beautiful character, and her unforgettable spirit will be deeply missed. Peg is survived by her daughter, Susan (Provie) Tomei; granddaughters, Megan Tomei and Emily (Eric) Yetzer, and her and great-grandchildren, Carter and Theo Yetzer. We will miss you more than words can express, but we will never forget you. Your stories will be told, your laughter will be remembered, and your love will remain with us always. Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever a part of us.
