She was predeceased by her beloved parents, her son John Howard Ayers Jr., her ex-husband John Howard Ayers Sr., her devoted husband Jack Lee Whitman, and many dear siblings, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Despite these profound losses, Margaret's spirit remained undaunted, and her love for her family only deepened. Margaret's enduring legacy is carried forth by her loving daughter Jeri Jeanelle Ayers/Ferreira, her caring nephew Steven Danny Anderson, and her treasured grandchildren Jason Ayers, Moriah Rancourt, Jeremy Ayers, Heather Hinton, Holly Hungerford, Amanda Wiley, Jennifer Ayers, and John Ayers. Her lineage continues with numerous great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, each a testament to the enduring bonds of family that Margaret held so dear. A dedicated and hardworking woman, Margaret retired from her role as a forklift driver at Owen's Illinois Glass Co., where she was respected and admired by her peers. Beyond her professional life, Margaret found joy in the simple pleasures of shopping, crafting, yard selling, and spending precious moments with her family. Her hobbies reflected her vibrant spirit and her love for finding beauty and value in everyday things. Margaret was known for her generous heart, her loving nature, and her candid honesty. She touched the lives of those around her with her caring demeanor and was never afraid to speak her mind. Her presence in the lives of those she loved was a gift that will be treasured forever.
