In Loving Memory

Margaret E. Weeks
September 6, 1941 — August 30, 2026
Margaret Weeks, born, Margaret Elaine Muse, began her journey on September 6th, 1941, in Trenton N.J. to Clifford Weeks and Madeline Muse. She grew up between Trenton N.J. and Hightstown N.J. where she remained until she met and married John H. Weeks Sr. This is where life in the military began for her. She was very active and served as Vice President of the NCO women's club before being elected to President for 2 terms. She was an avid published poetry writer. Margaret showed us all that it is never too late to accomplish your dreams as she earned judo rank certificates in Gokyu and Rokkyu martial arts. She received a life membership award from the Martial Arts Association in 1997.
Her fulltime job was her children. She saw all her children thru school and into their careers before she herself became a teacher's aide for special needs children. She remained here til her retirement.
Upon leaving the military life and returning to San Antonio, she joined St Stephans Baptist Church. As she continued to grow in Christ and wanted more responsibilities, she left there and joined Calvary Baptist Church. She remained here as a member and mentor until she was called home.
Margaret is preceded in death by her father, Clifford Weeks, mother, Madeline Muse, brother, David Muse, ex-husband John Weeks, and granddaughter, Michelle Weeks.
Margaret is survived by her children, Sharine Darcel Weeks, John H. Weeks Jr., Kevin Anthony Weeks, Terence Rene Weeks, Timothy Rendall Weeks, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, brothers, Billy Weeks, Robert Weeks, "Juneboy" Weeks, sisters, Vicky Weeks, Barbara Weeks, and Dolores Weeks, and numerous family and friends.
