Margaret Patricia

Margaret Patricia(Teeshie) Mulrooney, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on August 7, 2026, surrounded by her five cherished daughters. Born on March 15, 1937, in Cloone, Leitrim, Ireland, Margaret was the daughter of James and RoseEllen McKiernan. She grew up in a family that valued love and togetherness, a tradition she carried on throughout her life. In 1962, Margaret married the love of her life, Thomas Mulrooney, in a beautiful ceremony in San Francisco, California. Over their 43 years of marriage, they built a life filled with warmth and laughter, raising five wonderful daughters: Sheila Lengtat (Robert), Patty Pierce (Andy), Maureen Hollum, Maggie Kiester (Michael) , and Jeannie Lewis (Chris). Margaret was a devoted wife and a nurturing mother, whose gentle spirit and wise guidance shaped her family into a close-knit unit. Margaret will be deeply missed by her sister's Bridie Mulrooney (Pat) Rosetta McCann (Andy) Kathleen McGrath (Bill) grandchildren: Diana Wheelen, Krystal Copenhaver, Amanda Zuercher, Megan Pierce, Hannah Pierce, Matt Pierce, Nick Pierce, Nicole Kiester, Justin Kiester, Kelly Andrade, Katherine Lewis, and Kayla Lewis. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Briana Wheelen, Zachary Copenhaver, Austin Copenhaver-McMichael, and Logan Copenhaver, Liam Zuercher, Kennie Andrade and Lainey Andrade,as well as a great-great-grandchild Grayson McMichael. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on through them. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, James and RoseEllen McKiernan, her brother, Michael McKiernan, her sister, Ann Bohan, and her beloved husband, Thomas Mulrooney. Though they have departed from this world, the memories they created with Margaret will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Margaret's life was one of love and devotion, She will be remembered for her gentle smile, her generosity, her love of animals,plants and her unwavering strength. Her life was a testament to the power of love, and she leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her. A service to honor Margaret's life will be held on August 21, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Livermore, California. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the wonderful life she led and the many lives she touched. Margaret Mulrooney's life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
