It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Margaret Ann Clement, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Margaret, affectionately known as Marge, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on September 17, 1941, in the close-knit town of Muenster, Texas, Marge was the cherished daughter of the late JP and Hazel (Otto) Flusche.
Marge’s journey through life was woven with love, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Earl W. Clement, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage beginning on November 8, 1978. Together, Marge and Earl devoted many years to serving their community through their family business, Clement-Keel Funeral Home, before retiring to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
A graduate of Muenster High School, class of 1959, Marge was a lifelong learner who pursued her passions with fervor. Her love for genealogy connected her to her roots, while her talent for decorating, especially during the Christmas season, brought warmth and joy to every room she touched. Her spirited support for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs was a testament to her vibrant personality.
Marge’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. As a devoted member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Lindsay, she found solace and purpose in her spiritual community, often lending a helping hand in the church office. Her kindness and generosity were evident in every aspect of her life, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Marge leaves behind a loving family who adored her dearly: her children, Col. Christopher Martin (Retired) and wife Tatiana of Argyle, TX, David Martin of Heath, TX, Billy Martin and wife Sheila of Silverton, OR, and Dale Martin of Lindsay; her cherished grandchildren Ryan Martin and wife Kristen, Nolan Martin and wife Erin, Randall Martin and wife Dani, Phillip Martin and wife Ashley, Katherine Martin, Samantha Martin, Pamela Oatney and husband Randy, Joe Martin and wife Jocelyn, Elizabeth Fleshman and husband Daniel, Garrett Martin, Jillian Martin, Alexa Martin, and Ava Martin; and 16 great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her later years.
Marge is also survived by her siblings, Clara Hermes, Dave Flusche and wife Wanda, Tom Flusche and wife Judy, Harold Flusche and wife Jeannine, Jack Flusche and wife Linda, and Sue Fisher and husband Herbie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.
She was predeceased by her parents, beloved husband, brothers Herbie, Bill, and Don Flusche, brother-in-laws Julius Hermes and Tom Trachta, sister-in-law Dorma Flusche, and daughter-in-laws Cathy Martin and Carolynn Martin.
A celebration of Marge’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on April 13, 2026, at St. Peters Catholic Church in Lindsay, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family will announce a designated organization for donations to honor Marge's memory and her legacy of giving.
Marge’s kindness, strength, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. As we say goodbye, we hold dear the memories of a life filled with love, laughter, and an enduring spirit that will continue to inspire us all.
