Born on April 5, 1934, in the picturesque town of Bath, Maine, Margaret was the cherished daughter of John and Mabel Cahill. Her early years in Bath were filled with laughter and adventure, shared with her beloved brothers, Richard and John, who preceded her in death. Together, they explored the rolling hills and sparkling waters of their hometown, creating a tapestry of cherished memories that would guide Margaret throughout her life. Margaret was a woman of unparalleled grace and warmth, known for her unwavering kindness and gentle spirit. She possessed a quiet strength and an abiding faith that carried her through life’s joys and challenges. Her presence was a sanctuary of love and comfort, a beacon of resilience and hope for all who knew her. In her journey through life, Margaret was blessed with a loving family who were the center of her universe. She is survived by her devoted children: Andrew and his wife Jackie Herrin, Edward and his wife Sandra Herrin, John Herrin and his partner Barbara Berube, and Stephanie and her husband Harry Rancourt. Each of them carries forward the legacy of love and compassion that Margaret instilled within them, a testament to her nurturing spirit and profound wisdom.
