Margaret Pascar

June 11, 1947 — October 29, 2026

Margaret Pascar ( LeVangie ), born on June 11, 1947, in Braintree, Massachusetts, departed this world on October 29, 2026, leaving a legacy of love, laughter, and warmth. She passed peacefully with her devoted husband, Fred, by her side, embraced by love as she soared to the heavens. Margaret was the cherished daughter of Richard and Ada LeVangie, who predeceased her, along with her beloved brother Dick and sister Lorraine. Her nurturing spirit and radiant smile are remembered fondly by her surviving family: her cherished sister Ada, her loving husband of over 54 years, Fred; her son Eric and daughter-in-law Julie; and her treasured grandson, Callum. Margaret's family extended beyond these ties, as she embraced countless nieces and nephews with open arms and an open heart. As a dedicated stay-at-home wife and mother, Margaret's home was a sanctuary of love and warmth. Her life was intertwined with the Faith Community Church, where she was a respected member, and previously with the Four Square Church. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, offering her guidance and solace. Margaret's hobbies painted a vivid picture of her vibrant personality. Her affection for penguins was legendary, with her home adorned by penguin-themed trinkets and figurines. She was an avid reader, particularly of murder mysteries, and a devoted participant in Bible study. Her infectious laughter, a sound that could lift spirits, was a testament to her joyful nature. Margaret's forthrightness and fierce loyalty were hallmarks of her character, endearing her to all who knew her. In honor of Margaret's remarkable life, a Celebration of Life and potluck lunch will be held on November 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Faith Community Church, 93 Stanwood Street, Providence, RI. Family and friends are invited to bring food, stories, and music to share, as we gather to celebrate and remember the joy Margaret brought into our lives. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Animal Rescue League of Southern Rhode Island, an organization reflecting Margaret's love for animals and her generous spirit. Margaret's life was a testament to the power of love, laughter, and unwavering faith. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched, inspiring all to live with the same warmth and compassion she so effortlessly shared.
