October 19, 1990 — April 20, 2026

With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Marcus Robert A Childers, who left this world on April 20, 2026, at the age of 35. Marcus passed away in Federal Heights, Colorado, a place that witnessed many of his life’s vibrant chapters. Born on October 19, 1990, in Cleveland County, Marcus was a spirited individual whose journey through life was as colorful and unexpected as the paths he chose to travel. Marcus was the cherished son of Marcus Howard and Regina C Love. His life was profoundly shaped by their unwavering love and guidance. Though we mourn his loss, we find comfort in the joyful reunion he now shares with his beloved grandmother, Dorothy E Whitmire, who predeceased him. Marcus's legacy lives on through his children: Trinity Childers, Marcus Childers Jr of North Carolina, and Kryie Childers of Florida. As a father, Marcus instilled in his children the values of courage, curiosity, and the importance of embracing life with open arms. He also leaves behind his brothers, Daniel Childers and Preston Love, and his sister, Rashida Howard. Marcus was surrounded by a host of siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. Marcus was a true gypsy soul, a free spirit who found profound joy in life's adventures. His unique perspective on life often bewildered those around him, but in his unconventional ways, he discovered a sense of peace and sanity that was uniquely his own. Those who knew Marcus will always remember his infectious laughter, boundless energy, and the way he embraced life’s craziness with open arms. His grandparents, Dan Childers and Shirley Howard, both of North Carolina, survive him and will continue to uphold the family’s cherished traditions and values that Marcus so deeply respected. A service to celebrate Marcus's life will be held on May 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM. During this time, we will gather to share stories, shed tears, and find solace in one another as we honor a life lived with passion and love. In remembering Marcus, let us embrace the lessons he imparted: to live freely, love deeply, and cherish every moment. Though his journey on earth has ended, Marcus's spirit and love will continue to guide and inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. Rest in peace, dear Marcus. Your adventurous spirit and boundless love will forever be etched in our hearts.
