Marcus was a beloved son to his mother, Mary Robertson, and his stepfather, Lucas Hunter, as well as his father, William Anderson. His family, including those he has joined in the afterlife, like his cherished grandmother, Lyn Anderson, meant the world to him. Together, they formed a circle of love and support that shaped the young man Marcus became. A sophomore in high school, Marcus was known not only for his academic pursuits but also for his impressive athleticism. A gifted athlete, he proudly wore the colors of his high school football team, but his passion for sports knew no boundaries. Whether it was football, basketball, or any sport that came his way, Marcus embraced them all with enthusiasm and skill. Yet, his interests extended beyond the playing fields; he held a deep appreciation for music, a universal language that resonated with his love of life. Those who knew Marcus will fondly remember his kind personality and the joy he brought into every room. His sense of humor was infectious, and he had an uncanny ability to make anyone smile, even on their darkest days. Marcus was a light in the lives of many—a great person in every sense of the word. As we bid farewell to Marcus, we are comforted by the memories we shared and the legacy he leaves behind. His life, though brief, was filled with laughter, love, and an indomitable spirit that taught us to cherish each moment. In accordance with his family's wishes, a private funeral service will be held to honor Marcus's memory. The service is scheduled for May 23, 2026, at 11:05 PM, at a location known only to those closest to him. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered their condolences and support during this difficult time.
