She was the cherished daughter of August and Thekla Stoll and the devoted wife of the late Darrel Leitsch, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership after marrying on a warm August day, the 16th, many years ago. Marcie's life was a testament to dedication, warmth, and unwavering faith. She spent her early career as a diligent school secretary, bringing her kindness and organizational skills to the forefront. However, it was when she embraced the role of a full-time mom that she truly found her calling. Her nurturing spirit and boundless love for her family became the cornerstone of her life, shaping the lives of her children, Darren Leitsch and Melissa Tencer, with whom she shared countless joyful memories. An active member of the Church of the Nazarene, Marcie's faith was the guiding light in her life. She was not only a devoted parishioner but also a committed volunteer, serving her church and the broader community at the district level with grace and dedication. Her commitment to her faith and her community left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Marcie had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, Emily Tencer and John Tencer, who were the delight of her life. She cherished every moment spent with them, offering endless love, support, and encouragement. Her home was always filled with laughter, warmth, and the vibrant energy of her beloved Phoenix Suns, a team she followed with passion and zeal. As we gather to celebrate Marcie's remarkable life, we reflect on the legacy of love, faith, and kindness she leaves behind. A service to honor and remember Marcie Virginia Leitsch will be held on May 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Tempe Church of the Nazarene, located at 3929 S Rural Rd, Tempe, AZ. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Marcie are invited to gather in celebration of her life, sharing stories and memories that will forever keep her spirit alive. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Marcie's memory to her beloved Church of the Nazarene, supporting the community she held so dear.
