Marcia also joins her siblings, Lindsey Browning and Anne Bigham, in eternal rest. Marcia’s life was one of devotion—first and foremost to her family. She was the nurturing mother of her children, Mark Wales and Duncan Wales, and daughter Kimberly Goetz beloved mother-in-law to Jim Goetz. Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her spirit of kindness and joy. Known for her gracious and generous spirit, Marcia was an unwavering pillar of support for her family and friends. Her warmth extended beyond her immediate family to her dear and close friends, Diana Drabek and Crystal LaCharite, lovingly known as “The fun ones,” who enriched her life with laughter and companionship. Marcia had a zest for life and a passion for staying active. She found joy in playing golf and tennis, which kept her vibrant and engaged with the world around her. Beyond her athletic pursuits, Marcia had a gift for capturing the essence of life through her poignant poetry. Her words were a testament to the beauty she saw in the world and the love she felt for those around her. In her final days, Marcia was cared for with exceptional compassion by Darius and Ester Rafaila at Rancho Santa Fe assisted living, for which her family is eternally grateful.
