It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Marcell Pierre Alsbrook, who departed this world on May 4, 2026, at the age of 36. Marcell was born on August 3, 1989, in the warmth and vibrancy of Chapel Hill, NC, a place that remained dear to his heart throughout his life.
Marcell was the beloved son of Evonne Alsbrook and Keith Coble. He was a devoted brother to Sharon Coble and Yahura Bailon, who will forever hold him in their hearts. He was predeceased by his loving grandparents, Emma and Edward Brooks, and Richard Coble Sr., who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms into the eternal embrace.
Marcell’s journey through life was marked by perseverance and a deep-seated commitment to helping others. He attended Asheboro City Schools and later Randleman High School, before earning his GED in 2009. His quest for knowledge and self-improvement was a testament to his unwavering determination.
A man of profound faith, Marcell was a beacon of hope and compassion within his community. His work was not confined to any single occupation; rather, he found fulfillment in serving those around him, sharing kindness and the goodness of the Lord with anyone who would listen. His selfless nature and generous spirit touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible impact that will be remembered for years to come.
Marcell was an active member of Vision of Unity Outreach Ministries, where he found fellowship and inspiration. His life was enriched by the simple joys of fishing and the creative expression found in music. These hobbies brought him peace and allowed him to forge deep connections with both nature and those he loved.
Though words can scarcely capture the essence of Marcell’s kind and gentle soul, he was known for his unwavering faith, infectious smile, and the genuine warmth he shared with everyone he encountered. His legacy of love and service will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
A service to celebrate Marcell’s life will be held on May 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Ridge Funeral Home. Family, friends, and community members are invited to gather in remembrance of a life beautifully lived, and to bid farewell to a cherished son, brother, and friend.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Grace Given, an organization close to Marcell’s heart, to continue the work of helping others in his memory.
