In loving memory of Manuel Venus, Jr., who graced this world with his presence on September 27, 1963, in Manila, Philippines. He was fondly called "Boyet" by his family and friends, With profound sadness, we announce his passing on July 16, 2026, at the age of 62. Boyet was a cherished son, a treasured brother, an adored uncle, and a dear friend to many. Boyet was the beloved son of the late Manuel L. Venus, Sr. and Perla M. Venus, who predeceased him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by his devoted siblings: Larry Venus, Grace De Jesus, Lourdes Venus, and Olive Limbaga. His family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them, whether near or far. A man of many passions, Boyet was an avid fan of the Los Angeles Lakers, never missing a game and always ready to discuss the latest team updates with anyone who shared his enthusiasm. He had a remarkable ability to connect with his family and friends, keeping in touch through phone calls and social media, ensuring that no distance could diminish the bonds he held dear. Boyet found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was a lover of jazz music, often letting its soothing melodies fill his home. Also an admirer of The Filipino Channel, eagerly watching teleseryes and staying informed with the latest news from his homeland. His humor was legendary; Boyet was a natural jokester, bringing laughter and light to every occasion with his perfectly timed wit. His laughter, love, generosity and unwavering kindness will be dearly missed but never forgotten. As we gather to celebrate his life, we remember the joy he brought to all who knew him and the legacy of love he leaves behind. Wake will be on July 28,2026 from 11:00 am - 8:00 p.m.at the Hope Chapel. Memorial Service is scheduled on August 4, 2026 at 9:00 am at Patriots Chapel. Inurnment to follow. All services will be at the Forest Lawn Cemetery Cypress located at 4471 Lincoln Ave., Cypress, CA 90630. With respect we kindly request no flowers during the viewing.
