In Loving Memory

MANUEL HUERTA
January 31, 1952 — May 17, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Manuel Huerta, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, who passed away peacefully at home on May 17, 2026, after a courageous battle with stage 3 cirrhosis of the liver. Manuel's journey on this earth began on January 31, 1952, in the warm embrace of El Paso, Texas, where he was born to his loving parents, Manuel Huerta and Jane Mayoral.
Manuel's life was a tapestry woven with love, resilience, and passion. He was preceded in death by cherished family members, including his children Kathy, Lorraine, Manuel, and Thomas, and his dear grandchildren Robert, Lil Richie, Angel, Carissa, Frankie, Lil Monty, and Melanie. Though he has joined them in eternal rest, his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Carrie Huerta, and their four children who bear the names of their dearly departed siblings: Manuel, Lorraine, Thomas, and Kathy. His legacy of love and wisdom lives on through his seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his teachings and stories for generations to come.
Manuel's life was enriched by his many passions and hobbies. He found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as fishing by tranquil waters, where he often found peace and reflection. His love for working on old cars was not just a pastime but a testament to his ability to breathe life into things that seemed long forgotten. Manuel also held a special fondness for visiting Route 66 in San Bernardino, California, where the echoes of classic cars and the nostalgia of the open road brought him great happiness.
To honor and celebrate Manuel's life, a service will be held on June 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, located at 738 Amargosa Road. Family, friends, and all whose lives Manuel touched are warmly invited to join in remembering a life well-lived and a man deeply loved.
Manuel Huerta's legacy is one of unwavering love, strength, and dedication to family and community. Though he has left this world, the memories and the impact of his life will forever remain. As we say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing that Manuel's spirit will forever be a guiding light, watching over those he cherished.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Manuel's honor, as a testament to his generous and compassionate spirit.
Rest in peace, dear Manuel. You will be profoundly missed, but your spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
