Malena Madden

Malena Madden, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at her home on August 15, 2026, after having faced recent health issues with grace and resilience. Born on December 21, 1959, in Pittsburgh, Kansas, Malena was a beacon of warmth and kindness throughout her life. The daughter of Lawrance Edward Bolte and Melba Earlene Hay Vandruff, Malena was raised with strong values of compassion and community. She graduated from Pittsburgh High School in 1978. In Ashland, Kentucky, on June 22, 1988, Malena married the love of her life, Noah Madden. Her husband Noah, along with her son, Christopher Spence, and her brother Larry Bolte preceded her in death. Malena's memory will forever be cherished by her surviving children: Michael Spence, Kimberly Satterfield, and Brittany Teeters. She was a devoted grandmother to six grandchildren, each of whom was a source of immense pride and joy for her. Her siblings, Greg Bolte and Linda Johnson, will also hold her close in their hearts, remembering the love and laughter they shared. Malena had a natural inclination for helping others. Whether lending a helping hand or going on shopping adventures for trinkets, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. As well as a love for her small dogs, one in which also passed right beside her. A service to celebrate Malena's life will be held on August 26, 2026, at 10:00 PM at Anderson First Baptist, located at One Friendship Lane, Anderson, MO 64831. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable woman who touched so many lives with her kindness and love. Malena Madden's legacy is one of love, strength, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
