Malachi Dudley
April 25, 2012 — October 14, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heartfelt gratitude for his life that we announce the passing of our beloved Malachi Dudley, who departed this world peacefully at home on October 14, 2026. Born on April 25, 2012, in Columbus, Ohio, Malachi graced us with fourteen years of love, laughter, and inspiration.
Malachi was the cherished son of Maniki Prysock-Dudley and Mark Dudley. His radiant presence in the lives of his family and friends was a reflection of the love and care bestowed upon him by those he held dear. Though his time with us was brief, Malachi's impact was profound and lasting.
He was a student at Columbus International High School, where he was known for his curiosity and zest for learning. Malachi's infectious enthusiasm and boundless energy were evident in all his activities. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as eating and cooking, often delighting his family with his culinary experiments. His love for food was matched only by his love for community and fellowship, as he often shared meals not just for nourishment, but as a gesture of love and connection.
Malachi was also an active and devoted member of his church community. His faith was a guiding force in his life, and he found comfort and joy in worship and the sense of belonging it provided. His gentle spirit and kind heart were a testament to his faith, and he inspired those around him to live with love and compassion.
He is preceded in death by his beloved family members, Angel McGowan, Robert J. Dudley, Clinton Prysock, and Robert Prysock. While we mourn the loss of Malachi, we take solace in knowing that he is reunited with those who went before him, embraced in eternal peace and love.
Malachi's memory will forever be treasured by his parents, extended family, and all who knew him. His life was a testament to the power of love, the joy of shared moments, and the beauty of a soul that touched so many hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Malachi's memory to a charity of your choice, honoring his spirit of giving and kindness.
As we come together to celebrate Malachi's life, let us carry forward his legacy of love, joy, and compassion. His time with us was a cherished gift, and he will remain in our hearts forever.
