Maegan Harrison

In loving memory of Maegan Harrison, who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 40. Born on April 28, 1986, in the tranquil town of Thomasville, North Carolina, Maegan was a beacon of light and love to all who were fortunate to know her. Maegan was the cherished daughter of the late Barbara Bryant and Robert Ward. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, her grandmother Jill Ward, her grandparents Dorthy Bryant and Bobby Ward, her grandfather James L Ward, and her aunt Laura Bryant Donnie. Their memories will forever remain intertwined with the beautiful life Maegan led. She was a dedicated wife to Justin Harrison, whom she married on June 7, 2024. In Justin, Maegan found not just a partner but a best friend. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, shared with their three treasured fur babies—Lady Bug, Sadie Mae, and Sasha—whom they adored deeply. Maegan is survived by her beloved sister Shannon, her niece Kailey, and Kailey’s children, Kaden, Jolene, Lilly, and Raelynn. Her warmth and kindness also extended to Justin's family, who held her dear in their hearts. A proud graduate of Randolph Community College, Maegan earned her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, a testament to her passion for nurturing and teaching young minds. Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life, as she was an active member of the choir at Central United Methodist Church and First Presbyterian Church of Asheboro. Later, when she moved to Madison, Tennessee, she found a welcoming community that embraced her with open arms. Maegan’s life was a tapestry of joy and compassion, woven together with her love for family, her devotion to her fur babies, and her faith. Her heart was as big as her ever-present smile, radiating warmth and kindness wherever she went. She found solace in reading her Bible, drawing strength and comfort from its pages. Maegan faced her health challenges with courage and grace, spending many nights in the hospital yet always maintaining a hopeful spirit. Her heart, though fragile, overflowed with love until the very end, leaving behind a legacy of joy and happiness. In honoring Maegan's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held. Those who wish to pay tribute to Maegan's memory may consider donations in her name to a charity of their choice. Her spirit will forever be remembered and cherished by all who knew her, a testament to a life lived with love, faith, and boundless generosity.
