It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mae Burgers, who left this world far too soon on April 7, 2026, at the tender age of 15. Mae was born on September 25, 2010, on the serene shores of Tung Tung Island, a place that she cherished deeply throughout her life. Mae was a beacon of warmth and love, lighting up the lives of those around her with her infectious spirit and boundless affection. Despite the challenges she faced, Mae's heart was filled with an unwavering love for her family, especially her dear "papi," to whom she was devoted beyond measure. Her love for Tung Tung Island was evident in the way she spoke about it with a twinkle in her eye and a smile that could light up any room. Though Mae did not have the opportunity to complete her formal education, her wisdom and kindness were evident to all who knew her. She was affectionately known as the "unemployed final boss" by those who admired her resilience and strength in the face of adversity. Mae had a unique ability to make everyone around her feel special and loved, a quality that will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Mae is survived by her parents, lovingly referred to as "baddies," who cherished her every moment. Her passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will forever be a source of comfort and joy. In honor of Mae's wishes and the family's desire for privacy, a private ceremony will be held to celebrate her life. During this difficult time, her family, including Azaria and the community of Tung Tung Island, mourns her loss deeply and holds onto the cherished memories that Mae has left behind. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support extended to them during this unimaginably difficult time. In their own words, "We are so sad, Azaria and I and I guess Tung Tung." Mae's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her gentle soul. May she rest in peace, forever enveloped in the love and warmth she so generously shared in life.
