Madlyn

Madlyn, born of Maine’s bright shore, Where pine trees stand and ocean waters roar, She carried its beauty through all her days, In quiet strength and loving ways. Her heart was home, her family dear, A steady light through every year. A long life lived, so full, so true— And all who loved her carry her too. Now Maine’s soft winds still speak her name, Through wooded hills and coastal rain. Though she has gone where we can’t see, Her love remains eternally.
