It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of our beloved Maddison Tay Blaire, who left this world far too soon on September 4, 2023. Maddison, a treasured daughter, granddaughter, niece, and friend, was born on March 17, 2010, in the vibrant city of Chicago. She graced her family and everyone who knew her with 13 years of light and love. Maddison was the cherished daughter of Joshua and Aubrey Blaire, who lovingly nurtured her curious and adventurous spirit. She was predeceased by her dear Aunt Sarah, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Together, they are now reunited, watching over those they left behind. From a young age, Maddison expressed a lively passion for cheerleading, a pursuit that brought her immense joy and countless friendships. Her enthusiasm for hiking allowed her to explore the beauty of nature, trails, and the world around her, often hand-in-hand with her family. Her heart was as expansive as the landscapes she loved to traverse, and her spirit was as vibrant as the cheers she led. Maddison will always be remembered for her warm smile that could light up the darkest room and her polite demeanor that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her kindness and compassion made her a beacon of positivity, and her gentle presence was a comfort to all who knew her. A service to honor Maddison's beautiful life will be held on September 11, 2023, at 10:45 a.m. at St. Mary Church, located at 123 Main City Street. We invite all those who knew and loved Maddison to join us in celebrating her life and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Maddison's memory to organizations dedicated to mental health awareness and suicide prevention, in hopes of bringing light to others as Maddison did in her life. Though Maddison's time with us was brief, her impact was profound. We carry her in our hearts, forever grateful for the time we shared. May her spirit soar high, free as the wind that guides the hiker’s path, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
