It is with heavy hearts and treasured memories that we announce the peaceful passing of Lynn Johnson on July 22, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 8, 1962, in Elyria, Ohio, Lynn was a beacon of warmth and kindness throughout her life, touching the hearts of many with her compassionate spirit. Lynn was the beloved daughter of Earl Pitcock and Kathleen Wirth, who instilled in her the values of love, empathy, and resilience. These qualities shone brightly in all aspects of her life, particularly in her career, where she found joy and fulfillment working with the elderly. Her colleagues and those she cared for remember her as a gentle soul who always went the extra mile, bringing comfort and cheer to everyone she encountered. Family was at the core of Lynn's world. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother to her two children and three stepchildren. Her nurturing nature extended to her cherished role as a grandmother to five grandchildren and a great-grandmother to two great-grandchildren. Her siblings, two sisters and a brother, shared a close bond with Lynn, enriched by shared memories and mutual support. Lynn's greatest joy came from being surrounded by her family. Whether it was a lively family gathering or a quiet afternoon spent in the company of her loved ones, she found happiness in the simple joys of life. Known for her caring nature, Lynn's home was a sanctuary of love and laughter, where she made everyone feel welcome and cherished. In honor of Lynn’s life and the love she shared, her family has chosen to hold a private funeral ceremony. While we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the beautiful legacy she leaves behind—a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering commitment to her family and community. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Lynn's generous spirit and her lifelong dedication to helping others. A special message from Lynn’s family: "We will miss her." May we all find comfort in the memories of Lynn's extraordinary life and the profound impact she had on those fortunate enough to know her.
