Lyndon Toussaint

Eulogy On July 22, 2026, the world lost a remarkable soul when Lyndon Toussaint passed away at the MediLodge of Southfield after bravely facing the aftermath of a severe stroke and later became non responsive where he suffered a cardiac failure. Born on October 22, 1963, in the vibrant city of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Lyndon was the beloved son of Mr. Scott Toussaint and Miss Marie Rose Jean Baptiste. Lyndon’s journey began in Haiti, where he graduated from Frank Etienne High School in 1976. Soon after, he embarked on a new chapter, migrating to the United States to create a life filled with opportunity and success. His career was diverse and dynamic; starting as a building manager, Lyndon flourished in roles as a businessman and landlord in both Michigan and Los Angeles. Ultimately, he returned to Michigan, where he dedicated himself to serving and protecting the public as a security guard. Lyndon was a spirited individual with a zest for life that was contagious. He was always in pursuit of the next opportunity, driven by his love for making "the green Benjamin." While his determination was unwavering, he was equally passionate about enjoying life’s pleasures, from dancing and listening to his favorite music like "Black Man Redemption, These are the days of Elijah, Break every chain, After The Rain" to watching classic films such as "American Gangster" and "New Jack City, One Hundred Riffles." His heart, however, belonged to his family, and the delicious meals crafted by his beloved wife, Ann. In October 2015, Lyndon married Ann Toussaint in Los Angeles, where their love story began. Together, they shared over 12 years of marriage, raising two beautiful daughters, Ketchna and Alaysia, and celebrating the joy of their granddaughter, princess Subrina. Lyndon cherished his family deeply, always ensuring their happiness and well-being. Lyndon was a man of many facets—a character who could make you smile with his words and actions. Though he had a spirited demeanor that could ruffle feathers, he was generous to a fault, ready to lend a hand or a kind word. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and loyalty, a testament to his dedication to his family, friends, and the community. His favorite thing to say to his wife was Te Amo Mucho (I love you very much) or Je t'aime beaucoup. He is survived by his devoted wife, Ann; his daughters, Ketchna, Alaysia, and La'Tasha; his granddaughter, Subrina; and a large extended family of siblings, including Scott, Johnny, Sky, Bob, White, Michelle, Eugenie, Josie, Dacamalie, Nadege, Wheatic, Bebe, William, Ronald, Viviane, and Yvon. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Scott Toussaint and Marie Rose Dieula Jean Baptiste, his brother Nexon and sister Yvon. Lyndon also leaves behind cherished friends Lawrence, Howard, Tyrone, Abdule, Sara, Brown’s family, Sauce, Kim, Monroe Security, coworkers and many more beloved friends. In lieu the family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the his brothers and family, also the mother and brothers of his wife Ann, friends and family, hospitals, facilities, and caregivers who cared for Lyndon, who showed him unwavering love. Special thanks to Pastor Noble and First Lady Charity, the members of Living Waters Church, and the staff at James H. Cole Funeral Home for their support in making the day a success. Lyndon Toussaint will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him. Rest in peace, Lyndon until we meet again. We love you!
