Luz grew up alongside her dear brother Oscar, and sisters Juana Lariena and Adriana Caballero, forming bonds that would withstand the tests of time.
In Lima, Peru, on June 22, 1957, Luz married the love of her life, Ramon T. Coronado. Together, they shared many wonderful years, cultivating a partnership that was as enduring as it was endearing. Their marriage was a testament to love and dedication, raising six devoted children: Marilu, Ramon, Mapi, Manolo, Juan, and Carlos. Luz and Ramon built a life together that was rich with love, adventure, and countless cherished memories.
Luz was a matriarch in every sense of the word. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and joy, where family gatherings were frequent and laughter was abundant. She was a guiding light to her 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who each held a special place in her heart. Her legacy is not only carried on by her children and grandchildren but also in the countless lives she touched with her compassion and wisdom.
Though she faced the sorrow of parting with her beloved husband Ramon, her parents Manuela and Moises, and her brother Oscar, Luz remained a beacon of strength and grace for her family and friends. Her spirit was indomitable, and her love was unwavering.
