It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Luveena Kaia Chase, who left this world far too soon on November 18, 2025, at the tender age of 11. Luveena was born on June 18, 2014, in Springfield, Massachusetts, and in her short yet profoundly impactful life, she touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Luveena was the cherished daughter of Cristina Dias and Jillian, who preceded her in death. Despite the unimaginable loss of her parents, Luveena's radiant spirit never dimmed. She faced her challenges with grace and courage, revealing an inner strength that belied her young age.
A student at her local elementary school, Luveena embraced her education with enthusiasm and curiosity. She was a bright and eager learner, whose favorite part of the day was sharing new stories and adventures with her classmates and teachers. Her teachers often remarked on her kindness and the gentle way she encouraged her peers.
Luveena had a zest for life that was evident in everything she did. She was a passionate basketball player, reveling in the teamwork and joy that came with every game. Her love for arts and crafts was a testament to her creativity, as she spent countless hours crafting beautiful works that reflected her vibrant imagination. Luveena also had an adventurous spirit, often leading her siblings on explorations and treasure hunts in their backyard, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Family was the center of Luveena’s world. She found immense joy in the simple moments spent with her siblings, sharing laughter and love that will continue to echo in their lives. Her tender heart and bright smile were beacons of hope and love, reminding all who knew her of the beauty and fragility of life.
As we remember Luveena, we celebrate the joy and light she brought into our lives. Although her time with us was brief, her legacy of love and courage will endure, reminding us to cherish each moment and to face our own challenges with the same bravery she exemplified.
In accordance with the family's wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor Luveena’s life. During this time, we invite those who knew her to reflect on the impact she had and to hold her memory close to their hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of choice that supports children’s health and education, continuing Luveena’s legacy of kindness and compassion.
Luveena, your light will forever shine in our hearts. May you rest in peace, surrounded by the love that you so generously gave to others.
