June 9, 2014 — November 18, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Luveena Kaia Chase (Dias), who left this world on November 18, 2025, at the tender age of 11. Born on June 9, 2014, in Springfield, Massachusetts, Luveena was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew her—a source of joy, love, and boundless creativity.
Luveena faced her illness with bravery and resilience, a testament to her courageous spirit. Her journey was marked by the love and support of her family, who cherished every moment spent with this remarkable young girl. Luveena was the beloved daughter of her biological mother, Cristina, and her adoptive mother, Jillian, who together provided her with an abundance of love and nurturing care.
A bright and spirited child, Luveena's interests were as vibrant as her personality. She found great joy in arts and crafts at school, where her creativity knew no bounds. Her artistic endeavors were a reflection of her imaginative mind and her love for bringing beauty into the world. Luveena also had a passion for basketball, where she played with enthusiasm and a joyful heart. Her love for the game was matched only by her love for adventure, as she embraced every opportunity to explore and discover new wonders.
Luveena's greatest joy, however, was the time she spent with her siblings, Jaxson and Makenzie. Together, they shared countless adventures, creating memories that will forever be treasured by those who were fortunate enough to witness their bond. Her laughter and spirit will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Luveena is survived by her loving grandparents, Maria and Jose Dias, whose wisdom and warmth provided her with a constant source of comfort. She also leaves behind her beloved aunt, Deanna Dias, and her uncle, Paulo Dias, whose presence in her life was a cherished blessing.
As we gather to remember and celebrate Luveena's life, we are reminded of the profound impact she had on those around her. Her vibrant spirit, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family and friends leave an indelible mark on all who knew her. Though her time with us was far too short, Luveena's memory will continue to inspire and uplift us, a guiding light through the darkest of times.
A memorial service to honor Luveena's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will come together to share stories and celebrate the beautiful soul that touched us all. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a children's charity of your choice, in memory of Luveena's loving and generous spirit You will forever be remembered, cherished, and loved beyond measure. Love you “Lulu”
