She was 94 years old. Lupe was born on January 8, 1932, in Dallas, Texas, to her loving parents, Augustin and Valentina. From a young age, Lupe embodied a spirit of warmth and kindness that would define her life and her relationships with those she encountered. Blessed with a beautiful smile and an angelic voice, she touched the hearts of many and left an indelible mark on all who knew her. For over 50 years, Lupe shared a deep and abiding love with her devoted husband, who survives her. Together, they built a family grounded in love, compassion, and understanding. As a mother to ten children, her nurturing spirit was a guiding force in their lives, and her legacy continues through her 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride. Lupe's life was a testament to the power of love and resilience. Her home was a sanctuary filled with laughter, music, and the aroma of her legendary cooking, where family and friends were always welcome. Those who were fortunate enough to be graced by her presence will forever remember her sweet, angelic beauty and the warmth of her embrace. A Mass celebrating Lupe's life will be held on July 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Monica Catholic Church, located at 9933 Midway Rd, Dallas, TX 75520. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Lupe are invited to join us in honoring her life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Lupe's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her spirit of generosity and love.
