Born in San Bernardino, California, on June 16, 1933, Lupe was a beloved daughter of Gregorio and Bernardina Cuellar. Her life was a testament to devotion, love, and unwavering kindness.
Lupe was the cherished wife of Raul Marrufo, with whom she shared 56 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a family grounded in love, joy, and resilience. She is now reunited with her beloved Raul and their children, Michael and Darlene, who predeceased her.
A nurturing spirit, Lupe dedicated her life to her family. As a devoted housewife and loving mother, she created a home filled with warmth and laughter. She also worked part-time as a noon duty at Roosevelt Elementary School.
Lupe had a profound love for caring for her grandchildren, a role she embraced with joy and dedication. Her home was a haven where stories were shared, and meals were prepared with love. An accomplished cook, Lupe's kitchen was the heart of family gatherings, where her delicious meals brought everyone together. Her passion for gardening was reflected in the vibrant blooms that surrounded her home, a testament to her nurturing touch and love for nature.
Lupe is survived by her loving daughter Jeannie and treasured daughter-in-law Carol, who was married to her late son Michael. Her legacy lives on through her five grandchildren, Aileen (Ricardo), Jason (Ruby), Mitch (Kristina), Mary, and Aaron, and her five great-grandchildren, AJ, Mark, Joseph, Ethan and Owen.
