Born on September 24, 1922, in the lush and vibrant Philippines, Luming's life was a tapestry of love, resilience, and joy that touched everyone she encountered. Luming was the cherished daughter of Orlando and Victoria Pena, who instilled in her the values of kindness, strength, and compassion. These qualities became the cornerstone of her life and legacy. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, her siblings, and many dear family members, with whom she is now joyously reunited. Luming's heart was devoted to her family, and she found her greatest joy in being the matriarch to her surviving children: Orlando Pena and his wife Liberty, Perla Pena, and Dolly Pena. Her nurturing spirit extended to her five grandchildren Dave, Nicole, April, Joy, and JJ. As well as six great-grandchildren Alyana, Zayden, Ava, Caroline, Ianna, and Liam each of whom carries a piece of her legacy forward. For 52 beautiful years, Luming shared a profound and enduring love with her high school sweetheart and husband, who preceded her in joining the Lord. Their union was a testament to the power of love and partnership, a beacon of light for those fortunate enough to witness it. Luming dedicated her life to her family as a stay-at-home mother, a role she embraced with grace and dedication. She delighted in nurturing her children and grandchildren, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and the comforting hum of her sewing machine. Her talent for crafting and her love of playing bingo were a testament to her creativity and zest for life. Those who knew Luming will forever remember her for her warm smile and friendliness, qualities that endeared her to all who crossed her path. Her presence was a source of comfort and joy, a gentle reminder of the beauty in everyday moments.
