Luke Tyler Snow
July 13, 1994 — August 3, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Luke Tyler Snow, who left this world on August 3, 2026. Born on July 13, 1994, in Jefferson, Louisiana, Luke's life was filled with adventure, resilience, and the pursuit of knowledge.
Luke was the beloved son of Beryl Womack and the late David Snow. He is deeply mourned by his sisters, Callie and Alber Snow, his brother, Thad Snow, his nephew, Wade Snow, and his cherished partner of ten years, Jack. Predeceased by his father, David, and grandfather, Bobby Snow, Luke's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Educated in a classical environment through homeschooling, Luke later attended Parklane Academy before pursuing further education at Southwest Mississippi Community College. There, he distinguished himself by earning two associate degrees in science—one in Information Technology and another in Process Technology. His time in college was marked by hard work and dedication; he contributed to the Whispering Pines college paper, assisted in grading papers, and helped establish the college's IT server system.
Luke's career was as diverse as it was remarkable. He began as a volunteer in construction with Mississippi Nailbenders, traveling across the Midwest and East Coast from 2009 to 2015. Following the passing of his father, he transitioned to a career as a merchant mariner, achieving the rank of AB Unlimited despite the challenges of psoriatic arthritis. Later, he applied his technical skills as a field technician for a saltwater disposal plant and worked for Rohner Finishing Systems, traveling extensively to service industrial ovens and paint booths.
Beyond his professional life, Luke was a multi-talented individual. He lent his voice to local radio stations and video game modifications, showcasing his creative flair. He was a member of the Thelema organization Astrum Argentum, where he attained several ranks, illustrating his commitment to personal growth.
Luke's personal interests were as varied as his career. He had a passion for urban spelunking, exploring abandoned places, and collecting old technology and movies. He was also a connoisseur of cooking, tabletop games, and record store browsing. Above all, he cherished his partner, Jack, whose love and companionship were a source of immense joy.
Luke's life was a testament to resilience and adaptability. He faced many challenges with courage and determination, never allowing setbacks to define him. His ability to navigate difficult situations with integrity and self-reliance was a hallmark of his character. Those who knew Luke were inspired by his creativity, loyalty, and practical competence across diverse domains.
