He was the beloved son of Muriam and Carlos Desuze, who preceded him in death, along with his cherished wife, Linda Folks Desuze. Luis and Linda's love story began in Brooklyn, NY, where they married and shared 24 wonderful years together. Their union was a beacon of love, and together they created a nurturing home filled with joy, raising their six children: Damaris Desuze, Yahaira Maitland, Dixian Desuze, Luis Desuze Jr., Kalima Williams, and Shaherazade Desuze. His legacy continues through his 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, whose lives will forever be enriched by his memory. Known for his quick wit and infectious smile, Luis had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued.
