In Loving Memory of Luis
It is with profound sadness and heartfelt appreciation for a remarkable life well-lived that we announce the passing of Luis, who left this world peacefully on September 27, 2026, after bravely battling stage 4 cancer. Luis's journey through life was marked by love, joy, and an unwavering spirit that touched the lives of many.
Luis was a devoted father to his beloved daughters, Lissette, Lucia, Sindia, and Luz. His love for them was as boundless as the ocean, and he cherished every moment spent laughing and dancing with them. His legacy extends to his cherished grandchildren—Aileen, Jimmy, Jayce, Zaid, Josue, Oneal, Yasaniah, and Maxine—each of whom he adored and who lovingly called him their "big teddy bear."
A man of many passions, Luis found joy in dancing, a pastime that filled his heart with happiness and rhythm. Weekends saw him playing music with his band, spreading melodies that resonated with those fortunate enough to hear them. His love for horse riding was a testament to his adventurous spirit, while the holidays spent with his family were among his most treasured times, filled with laughter, warmth, and togetherness.
Luis was a constant presence, always there when needed, offering support, wisdom, and a kind word. His laughter was infectious, and his spirit unyielding, never letting anyone down. These qualities endeared him to all who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Luis's life on October 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Funeraria Cáceres, located at Cll Salvador Brau, Cabo Rojo, 00623, Puerto Rico. It will be a time to honor the beautiful life he lived and the lasting impact he made on those around him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Luis's memory to a charity of your choice.
Luis's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit, warmth, and love will remain with us forever. As we say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing that his legacy will live on through the stories we share and the memories we hold dear. May he rest in eternal peace.
