Lucy’s journey through life was marked by a profound love for her family. She was the devoted wife of the late Maurice Ford Sr., with whom she shared 45 beautiful years of marriage. Their union was a beacon of love and resilience, producing a beloved daughter, Tehishi Bland. Her heart was further filled with pride and joy through her daughters, Bridgett Jackson and Deborah Hill, whose lives she enriched with her wisdom and care.
Lucy’s family was the cornerstone of her existence. Her son, Michael Hill, and grandson, Christopher Hargrove, who predeceased her, were dearly cherished, and their memories remained ever-present in her heart.
A nurturing matriarch, Lucy was blessed with seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, all of whom were the light of her life.
