With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Lucillie Lanthier, a cherished mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on December 23, 2025, at the age of 86. Surrounded by the love of her family and in the serenity of prayer, Lucillie departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith. Born on November 12, 1939, in the close-knit community of Delano, Minnesota, Lucillie was the beloved daughter of Fred and Adeline Perry. Her upbringing in Delano was marked by warmth and the strong values instilled by her parents, which she carried throughout her life. Lucillie shared a special bond with her siblings, Fred and Yvonne, and the late JoAnn Perry, her sister-in-law, who predeceased her, alongside her son, William Lanthier. Lucillie's journey through life was one of devotion and compassion. She was a pillar of strength and an eternal source of wisdom for her surviving family, who cherished her deeply—her brother Fred Perry, sister Yvonne Zorn and her husband Jim, and sister-in-law Lorraine Lanthier. Her nurturing spirit extended to her children, Karl (Mary), LaVonne (Tom), Judith (Jeff), Mark (Shelly), Denise, Mike (Becky), and Joan (Scott), each of whom carries forward her legacy of love. Lucillie was blessed with fifteen grandchildren, who lit up her life with joy and laughter. Though she leaves no great-grandchildren, her influence on future generations is profound and everlasting. Lucillie's life was a testament to her faith and commitment to her community. She was an active member of the Lutheran Church of the Master, where she found solace and strength. Her church family held a special place in her heart, and her contributions to the community were countless and immeasurable. Her life will be celebrated in a service held on April 10, 2026, at the Lutheran Church of the Master, located at 1200 69th Ave. N. in Brooklyn Center, MN. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Lucillie are invited to gather in remembrance of her remarkable life and the love she shared so freely. In honoring Lucillie's memory, we remember her gentle spirit, her unwavering faith, and her boundless love for her family and community. She leaves behind a world made better by her presence and a family eternally grateful for the privilege of calling her their own. Rest in peace, dear Lucillie. Your light will forever guide us, and your love will remain in our hearts until we meet again.
