Lucille left us with the grace and dignity she carried throughout her remarkable life, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the tender care of her beloved daughter, Dr. Cindy Flower, and her devoted caregiver.
Born on April 24, 1924, on Maxwell Road in Christ Church, Barbados, Lucille was a woman of quiet strength and deep faith. Her life was a testament to resilience, patience, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community. As a devoted housewife, Lucille dedicated her life to nurturing her family, imparting wisdom through her quick wit, and maintaining a peaceful, reserved demeanor that touched everyone who knew her.
Lucille was predeceased by her cherished son, Venice, whose memory she held dear. She is survived by her loving daughter, Cindy, who was not only her child but her confidante and friend. Lucille's legacy also lives on in her one great-grandchild, who carries forward the love and values she instilled.
A faithful member of the Catholic Church, Lucille's belief in her faith provided her with strength and solace throughout her life. Her commitment to her spiritual community was unwavering, and she found great joy and peace in her connection to God.
A service to honor Lucille's life will be held on April 6, 2026, at The Chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens located at The Ridge, Christ Church. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Lucille are warmly invited to celebrate her life and legacy.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Palliative Care Organizations in Lucille's memory, ensuring that others may receive the compassionate care she was blessed with.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Travis Warner for his exceptional care and support. His dedication as a caretaker was a great comfort to Lucille and her family.
