It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt reverence that we announce the sudden passing of Luciana Marchi, who departed this world on March 29, 2026. Luciana left us unexpectedly, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew her. She was 73 years old.
Born on November 1, 1952, in the serene town of Capannori, Italy, Luciana was the cherished daughter of Delia and Luciano Marchi. Her early years in Capannori were filled with the warmth of family and the vibrant culture of Italy, which she carried with her as she journeyed through life.
Luciana was united in marriage with her beloved husband, Drusiano Caliguiri, who preceded her in death. Together, they built a life rich in love, laughter, and unwavering companionship. Their home was a sanctuary where family and friends always felt welcome.
Luciana's legacy is lovingly carried on by her children and grandchildren, who she cherished deeply. She is survived by her son Giovanni Marchi and his wife Anne, her daughter Christine Dybhavn and her husband Darrel, and her son Eric Marchi. Her grandchildren, Cody Bowie, Jacob Bowie, Makenna Bowie, Lucca Marchi, and Brandon Harrison Bowie, were the light of her life, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments and dreams.
Throughout her life, Luciana's warmth and kindness touched many lives. Her generosity of spirit and her ability to listen without judgment made her a cherished friend to many. Whether she was sharing a meal, offering guidance, or simply being present, Luciana had a way of making everyone feel valued and loved.
Luciana had a passion for the arts, often immersing herself in music and painting. Her creativity and appreciation for beauty inspired those around her and brought joy to many. She believed in living life fully and encouraged those she loved to pursue their passions with the same fervor.
Family gatherings were her greatest joy, where her laughter and stories filled the room with a sense of belonging and happiness. She was a pillar of strength and wisdom, guiding her family with love and grace.
