Wayne was the beloved son of Lloyd and Doris Henderson, who instilled in him the virtues of compassion and generosity. From his early days in Hope, Indiana, where he graduated from Hauser High School, Wayne demonstrated an innate ability to make everyone feel cherished and welcome. His gift for hospitality and his genuine interest in others made him a cherished friend to many. Throughout his life, Wayne was a dedicated member of the First Assembly of God church. His faith was a cornerstone of his existence, and he was actively involved in the church's youth group, where he inspired and guided many young souls with his gentle spirit and unwavering faith. Wayne's life was marked by love and family. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Miranda Perry, who carries forward his legacy of kindness and empathy. Although predeceased by his son, Kyle, Wayne's love for him was immeasurable, and he cherished every moment they shared. Wayne's siblings, Faylene and Michael, remember him as a brother who was always there with a listening ear and a comforting presence. Wayne's life was a testament to the power of warmth and inclusion. Whether he was greeting newcomers at church or sharing a meal with friends and family, Wayne's presence was a balm to all. His home was a haven of love and laughter, a place where everyone felt welcome and valued. After a period of illness, Wayne passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by the love and care of his family. His departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, yet his spirit and the memories he created will endure forever. In accordance with his wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor Wayne's life, where family and close friends will gather to celebrate the beautiful journey he lived.
