Loyce Jackson

In loving memory of Leona Loyce Jackson, 84, who peacefully departed this world on August 7, 2026, at her cherished home in the comforting presence of her family, holding her hand. Born on February 20, 1942, in Morton, Texas and raised in Citrus Heights, California. Loyce lived a life full of love, warmth, and dedication to her family and community. The daughter of Ollie Buford Campbell and Cordia Leona Hays, Loyce grew up in a nurturing home that instilled in her the values of care and compassion. She graduated from San Juan High School in California in June 1960, where she was a vibrant member of the Glee Club, Bible Club, and Nurses Club. Her talents shone brightly as she played the clarinet and twirled a baton with the Majorettes. On April 7, 1961, Loyce married the love of her life, Jack Lee Jackson, in Reno, Nevada. They were together for 61 years, before his passing in 2022. They moved to Dallas, Texas in 1969 and then settled in Quinlan, Texas in 1982 where they built a beautiful life, raising their three beloved children and grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life. Loyce was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Lee Jackson, her parents, and cherished siblings: Sisters; Rilda Corine Shaw and husband Seth Shaw of Texas. Daisy Marie Campbell, Loretta Inez Campbell. Brothers; T.J. Campbell of California, Elbert "Del" Campbell of California, Phillip Ray Campbell and wife Ethelyn Carol Campbell of California. Nephew; David Ray Campbell of California. Brother in Laws; Dennis Rolin and Rod Lane of California. Her legacy of love and family is carried on by her surviving family: Daughters; Becky Lynn Jackson and Janice Lee Jackson of Quinlan, Texas. Son; Jay L Jackson and wife Lacey of West Tawakoni, Texas. Grandchildren; Tyler Lee Whitworth and wife Christy of Quinlan, Texas. Xavier Nathaniel Jackson and significant other Iris Delgado of Quinlan, Texas. Kaiden Chase Jackson of West Tawakoni, Texas. Anastashia Breanne Forey of New Buffalo, Michigan. Collin Stephen Moore of Sulphur Springs, Texas. Great Grandson; Tristan Dakota Moore of Sulphur Springs, Texas. Sister; LaDonna June Lane of California. Brother; Vic Lee Campbell and wife Jane of California, Sister-in-law, Barbara Campbell of California along with several neices and nephews. Known for her generous heart and nurturing spirit, Loyce was the glue that held her family together. She loved hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings, creating a warm and welcoming space filled with laughter and love. Her passions extended beyond her family; she delighted in traveling, camping and fishing trips, cheering for her husband at dirt track races, and tending to her garden where she grew beautiful flowers and vegetables. Her collection of bird and chicken figurines was a testament to her playful and whimsical nature. Loyce's love for life was evident in her enjoyment of playing bingo, slot machines at the casinos, and her dedication to canning the bounty from her garden. Her vibrant personality and caring nature will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. A service to celebrate Loyce's remarkable life will be held on August 28, 2026, at Ingram Funeral Home, located at 1462 East Quinlan Parkway, Quinlan, Texas 75474 at 12PM. Viewing will be at 11 AM on August 28, 2026. Loyce Jackson will be forever in our hearts, missed by many, and never forgotten. Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. Forever, "You Are Our Sunshine"....We Love You Beautiful !!!
