Peggy Mack

Peggy Mack 73,of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died in Collingdale, PA of natural causes on August 17th. Peggy Mack was born on December 9, 1952 to the Ruby & Henry Mack in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Peggy accepted Jesus as her personal Lord & Savior at an early age. She attended Sunday school, worship services, vacation Bible school & sang on the youth choir at North Penn Baptist Church. Peggy attended Philadelphia public schools, including McIntyre Elementary School, Strawberry Mansion Junior High & Simon Gratz High School. As a teenager, Peggy enjoyed roller skating as well as dancing & performed in a dance group especially at school events. In June 1970, Peggy graduated from Simon Gratz High School and immediately began employment at Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania. Her group loved to dance wildly to Tina Turner song "Rolling on the River." She had a gift for sewing, knitting & crochet. Peggy knitted several beautiful blankets for her mother during her difficult years. Peggy leaves behind her children Patricia, Andrea, Aviance, Renee, Christian, Philip, Nicole; Her husband Richard Smith and several grandchildren . Also one great-grandchild. Preceded her in death is her parents, Henry & Ruby Mack, her sister Cora Lee Mack & brother Henry Eddie Mack. She is greatly missed by her surviving sisters Nancy Childs, Newport News, Va., Rachel Whiters, Upper Darby, Pa., Geraldine Mack, Durham, NC; brothers, Charles Mack, Philadelphia, Pa., and Ezekiel Mack, Columbus, Ga. & a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews
