Born on September 23, 1937, in Georgia, Louise was a beacon of love and kindness, known for her unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Louise was the beloved wife of Roger Abdul-Rahim, with whom she shared a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Together, they built a family rooted in strong values and deep affection. As a devoted mother and grandmother, Louise's nurturing spirit was the cornerstone of her family's unity and happiness. Her seven grandchildren were the light of her life, and she took immense joy in watching them grow and thrive. Louise's generosity extended beyond her family, as she was also a treasured sister, cousin, and friend. Her open heart and compassionate nature endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Whether through her involvement in community activities or simply sharing a cup of tea with a neighbor, Louise's presence was a gift to many. A time to honor and remember Louise's remarkable life will be held with a viewing on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 5-7 PM at Gaines Funeral Home, located at 5386 Lee Rd., Maple Heights, Ohio 44137. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, August 22, 2026, with a wake beginning at 4:00 PM and the funeral at 4:30 PM. Louise will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, where she will be surrounded by nature's beauty. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice, in remembrance of Louise's generous spirit and her lifelong commitment to helping others. Louise Abdul-Rahim will be deeply missed by her loving family and the many friends whose lives she touched. Her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
