Louis was the beloved son of the late Marie Thomas, whose love and guidance shaped the compassionate and hardworking man he became. He was predeceased by his treasured family members Aniya Askew, Judith Thomas, Deshawn Hokes, and his dear mother, Marie Thomas. Their memories were a guiding light throughout his life. A proud alumnus of Burgard High School, Louis carried the lessons he learned there throughout his life. His journey led him to serve his country with honor and distinction as a member of the U.S. Army for seven years. His dedication and bravery were emblematic of his deep love for his country and his steadfast commitment to duty. Following his military service, Louis found his calling in construction, where he spent many years as a skilled and respected worker. His craftsmanship and integrity were visible in every project he undertook, leaving a lasting legacy in his community. Louis's greatest joy came from his family. He was a devoted father and grandfather, blessed with three grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life. His heart was further expanded with the arrival of his great-grandchild, who became a source of boundless pride and happiness. Though we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the rich tapestry of memories he leaves behind. Louis's life was marked by love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to those he held dear. His kindness and generosity were felt by all who crossed his path, and his spirit will continue to inspire us. A private ceremony will be held to honor Louis's life and legacy.
