Louis Randal Aspen

July 9, 1961 — August 1, 2024

Louis R Aspen, 63, passed away August 1, 2024 in Nampa, ID. He was born in Appleton, WI and spent time in the Air Force and on a crab processing boat in Alaska before eventually moving to Idaho to make a home there with his son. Louie is survived by his wife Julie, his son Ian (Mercedes), daughters Jessie (Jeff) and Heather (Jason), step-daughters Shae (Lesha), Ashley (Shawn) and Amy (Nathan), his siblings Linda, Lonnie (Loretta), Laurie (Richard), Leon (Stephanie), Joan (Frank), many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly with all of his heart. Louie was a warm and welcoming light in this world; he had a lot of love to give and always made everyone feel included. All he ever wanted was for his kids to be happy, healthy, and decent humans. He was a protector that just wanted to make things better for the people around him. Standing up for the person who couldn’t stand up for themselves and helping others was his way of making the world a better place, and he was pretty damn good at it. He was a life-long Packers loving Mook from Wisconsin that always knew how to have a good time and wear flashy/silly shirts, bringing laughter with bad jokes.Louie will always be remembered for his contagious laughter and his infectious smile - the world is just a little darker without him in it
