It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Louis R. Solomon, a cherished brother, uncle, and friend, on July 2, 2026, at Lawrence General Hospital after a brief illness. Born on November 17, 1949, in Lawton, Oklahoma, Louis was a beacon of kindness and support throughout his life, always ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends alike.
Louis was the beloved son of the late Toufic and Phyllis Solomon. He was preceded in death by his parents, his dear sister Kathy, and his two brothers, Toufic Jr. and Michael. Despite these profound losses, Louis remained a steadfast pillar of strength and love for his surviving family members, including his brother Sam G. Solomon and his sister-in-law Suzanne M. Solomon, who cherished his companionship and unwavering loyalty.
Throughout his life, Louis wore many hats, working in various roles before retiring from his dedicated service to the town of North Andover. His work was a testament to his commitment to serving his community, a reflection of his selflessness and generosity.
Louis will be remembered for his quiet strength, his gentle spirit, and his remarkable ability to uplift those around him. His legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In accordance with his wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held. The Solomon family extends their heartfelt gratitude to those who have offered their condolences and support during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that donations be made in Louis's memory to a charity of your choice, as a way to honor his lifelong dedication to helping others.
